Bali has various traditional music instruments with its own unique shape and carving. These Balinese traditional music instruments are usually played during performing arts and also during religious ceremonies. Here are 5 traditional music instruments in Bali.

1. Pereret

Pereret is a Balinese traditional music instrument made of wood and shaped like a trumpet. This Balinese traditional music instrument is mostly made in Jembrana, Bali.

2. Rindik

Rindik is a Balinese traditional music instrument made from a set of bamboo. Rindik was originally only used at the dance performances, but now Rindik is also used at the wedding ceremonies and welcoming guests.

3. Ceng-Ceng

Ceng-Ceng is a Balinese traditional music instrument used to accompany Gamelan and Rindik. Ceng-Ceng is made of metal and have a round shape.

4. Gamelan Bali

Gamelan is a set of traditional music instruments consists of Gong, Kendang, Kempul, and Gambang. Gamelan is commonly used during dance performances and religious ceremonies. Although it has the same function with the gamelan in Java Island, but Gamelan Bali has a unique shape and carvings on it.
