Enjoying Batur Mount Panorama from Pinggan Village

Batur Mount (1,717m) is the most visited volcano in Bali, but most visitors usually join the tourist hordes at Kintamani village for discovering the amazing scenery. This mount is the best place for spending your holiday.

For a view of Batur that’s arguably more spectacular, I suggest you head to the more isolated village of Pinggan. This village is located in northern part of Batur Volcano. You must spend 2.5 hours to reach this village from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. I suggest you to come to this village on the morning when sunrise or the afternoon when sunset, because it’s the best time to enjoy the amazing panorama.

You must choose the best place for enjoying the panorama, I suggest you to hike some hill in this village. Here you can experience the fierce splendor of the active volcano in a more solitary, meditative setting. This is the other way to enjoy the beautiful panorama of Batur Volcano.

Batur is most photogenic at sunrise and sunset, and even makes for impressive night photography – with the lights of Pinggan village spread out at the foot of the mountain, and a sky full of stars twinkling above the peak. If you are the photographer, this place is the best place for taking amazing panorama beside conduct the hiking activities.
